Dragon’s Den star confirmed for HR Leaders Summit

Dragon’s Den star confirmed for HR Leaders Summit Entrepreneur and former Dragon’s Den star Bruce Croxon will join an all-star line-up of business leaders at HR’s premier event, the HR Leaders Summit, this November.

Croxon, who heads venture capital firm Round13 Capital and hosts BNN’s The Disruptors, will lead a luncheon keynote for hundreds of attendees at the summit.

Croxon’s HR Tech conversation will share insights into the role of technology in reinventing organizations’ performance management, and HR trends, including analytics and live-feedback performance management tools.

He’ll also reveal what Round13 Capital looks for when investing into HR tech companies.

Croxon is a digital pioneer who launched the first iteration of wildly successful online dating site, Lavalife, in 1988, before selling it for $180 million.

He rose to wider public fame during three years as an investor on CBC Dragon’s Den, and has more than 20 years of experience in helping young companies establish themselves.

Croxon, who owns a chain of high-end spas on Canada’s west coast, and more recently invested in Toronto’s FEAST store, is an in-demand speaker with a passion for sharing his entrepreneurial vision and values.

The HR Leaders Summit line-up also includes high-profile names like David Rock, co-founder and executive director of the NeuroLeadership Institute and Kathryn Minshew, co-founder and CEO of The Muse and co-author of The New Rules of Work.

The HR Leaders Summit takes place in Toronto on November 13 and 14.
