In what may be the definitive sign of troubled times, a new US reality TV show will track the employees of struggling small businesses as they decide which one of their colleagues will be laid off.

Being laid off or fired can be a humiliating experience for people and it's sick to think that tv corporations can make a profit by publically humiliating someone. I know that the economy is suffering right now and it is clearly evident that Fox is a victim of this recession if they have to be as desperate as this.
The Management teams that allowed Fox to use them as an example have no ethically values toward their employees and are treating them more as machines then humans. I would like to see what compensation the managers are getting for this because their reputation will be ruined as a good leader and driven individual. This may be the times we live in as the owner of Fox mentioned, but do we really have to subject public humiliation and individual heartache to turn a profit?
