A hotel worker who referred to a paralyzed former Olympian as a “cripple” should have had more training says one industry expert.

    I don't it it would have made any difference if the employee had used the words "wheelchair user" as opposed to "cripple". The comments would still have been equally disrespectful and unacceptable. It seems to me that training for much more than just acceptable term usage is called for here.
