Finally, someone is listening to the reams of research saying long work days do more harm than good.

    My question is, what will the people of Sweden do now to make up for their lost wages?
    Say an employee making minimum wage in Ontario went to a 6 hour work day. Usually lunch is unpaid so they would be working 5.5 hours a day or 27.5 hours a week or 1430 hours a year. Say the employee use to work 1950 hours a year (37.5 hours a week) at the new $11.25 min wage, that's a loss of $5850. A huge amount for most in the workforce. The discrepancy only gets worse for higher paying positions.
