Perhaps they could create a a better understanding for Learning Disabilities if someone who understands Disability terminology a little better were writing the article. Learning Disabilities include Dyslexia (80 % of all LD), Dyslcalculia, and Dysgrapia. Learning Disabilities are not referred to as Mental impairments or Mental Disabilities. To be diagnosed with a learning Disability the person has to have at least average intelligence. This article just adds to the miss information about what people with LD are capable of. This article is completely misinforming and frankly quite insulting. The article has paved the way for individuals with LD's to now have even more barriers in front of them. Would really appreciate an informed and accurate rewrite.
