Two counties have $241,000 earmarked for just one thing: finding women to promote, and propelling them into management.

This is welcomed news. As a women who works hard has had many accomplishes, it seems we just get looked over at times. I see men come in start new say they want to get into management and get looked at seriously. I can say the same thing and have better qualifications and it's just looked over. On any given day I am sure I put in more hours and I care for people. It seems I am just expected to do more work and get less. I don't even look for the recognition anymore, I just work hard because it's the right thing to do. It's the companies loss. Most women give up and focus on people and relationships. We need a paradigm shift in our mental mind sets for both sexes.
