    Luring much!
This is highly unethical. I used to hate when my competitors did this to me, especially owning a service business where scheduling was important for customer satisfaction. You can be sure the gloves come off when you do this sort of thing, and what goes around, comes around.

This doesn't create the initial bond of trust between applicants and the company. No wonder the company faces a talent shortage. Even if people want the job they may not subject themselves to be videotaped for various other reasons such as privacy concerns, trust, possibility of discrimination and many more. If someone wants the job, they will call you back, voiding the 'phone tag' excuse.
