Canadian millennials are opting out of secondary education which may need a paradigm shift for employers.

    Gen X went to university because there were no jobs for them! It was the 80's after all.
    I agree that there are other paths than university but I would still encourage post-secondary with at least a two-year diploma. I think getting trades training in high school as dual credit is a wonderful avenue for students. It is a great way to explore these types of jobs, especially for those that like to work with their hands.

    MOOCs are great, but I think they are more of a supplement to education rather than an alternative to, a way to get specialized knowledge and skills. But going to college or university does teach more than just memorization!
