    These are great points. It should also be noted that people don't leave companies, they leave managers.
    I'm an experienced employee working for a good firm with decent salary/benefits, development opportunities and some work-life balance so I can't complain much. However there's one manager who is super incompetent and makes dumb decisions affecting everyone. Senior management doesn't want to see the truth... that's the main reason I want to leave before things get worse.

    Good article but lacks professionalism on your part when you can't spell properly...'jump ship in a bid to work their way up the corporate latter' People work their way up a ladder, not a latter!!!
