Could you be pre-judging candidates by their name or other identifying factors? Take steps to reduce unconscious bias.

    If one wants to tout Nurture over Nature, then where someone comes from is an excellent indicator of their potential future job performance - which is all this about in the private sector. Leave the public service as the vessel to bloat with the underperforming.
