The needs and desires of Canadians are evolving at a rapid rate and HR leaders have a responsibility to keep up with the change. The world of work is being transformed by significant, overarching trends, like globalization, technology, labour market restructuring, demographics and evolving management practices.

While the current shift is creating inevitable challenges for business leaders, it is also creating opportunities for conscientious HR leaders to reimagine how work ‘works’. Designing work to be more challenging, meaningful, collaborative and flexible has the potential to improve organizational performance and workers’ well-being
