Nominations are still open for the Canadian HR Awards and industry professionals are being encouraged to put themselves – or others –forward for consideration before the deadline on July 8.
A total of 20 awards will be handed out on the night, including Canadian Rising Star of the Year, Canadian HR Rising Star of the Year and Lifetime Achievement in the HR Industry.
Last year, DST consulting’s Philip Wilson picked up the award for Lifetime Achievement in the HR Industry – an experience he described as “humbling.”
“I was honoured to receive the prestigious award in front of my peers, family and friends,” he told HRM. “
The gala was truly amazing and I was humbled by the grandeur of it as I entered the room,” he added.
Team and organizational awards will also be up for grabs including the award for Best Workplace Culture, Best Employer Branding and Best Learning and Development Strategy.
The full list of categories, including Next Generation Employment Initiative of the Year, Best Internal Communication Strategy, and Best Talent Management Strategy, can be found here
Both SMEs and large enterprises are encouraged to enter with previous winners spanning every industry from financial and municipal to leisure and non-profit.
