“It’s an ideal opportunity to recognize those people who have already made an impact despite a relatively short tenure,” says Iain Hopkins, editor of HRD magazine.
“There’s certainly no shortage of talented HR professionals in Canada so we’re looking for leaders who have shown great potential and will very likely influence the industry in the future,” he added.
To be eligible for a place on HRD magazine’s esteemed list, candidates must have less than ten years’ HR experience and a proven record of high performance – including adding value to both their workplace and the industry as a whole.
“It may seem like a tall order but there are so many HR professionals pushing the boundaries despite just a few years in the business,” says Hopkins, who called on people to nominate worthy contenders.
“We all know HR professionals are guilty of underplaying their achievements but I’m urging anyone who thinks they deserve a spot on the list to own their successes and put themselves forward,” he stressed.
“If you’re not one for the limelight, I’m sure everyone knows a colleague or co-worker who is more than worthy of the recognition.”
