HR Leaders Summit returns to Toronto

by |
Canada’s HR Leaders Summit is set to make a return to Toronto this winter with world-class speakers expected once again at the November event.

Focusing on the art and science of HR, industry leaders will address both sides of the story over 15 specialist sessions – from corporate culture and employee engagement to data analytics and business strategy.

Keynote

Three keynote presentations are lined up for the internationally recognized event including advice from industry expert Stan Slap on employee culture, insight from Box of Crayons’ senior partner Michael Bungay Stanier on core leadership characteristics, and a myth-buster session on de-mystifying mental health with a panel of pros.

Stan Slap

Keynote speaker and NY Times bestselling author Stan Slap has worked with – and been praised by – an array of corporate juggernauts including Apple, Google, Facebook, Ebay and Microsoft.

Their testimonials insist that his approach to company culture not only improved productivity and profit but changed the way exceptional leaders manage their teams and organizations.

Kathleen Hogan, the executive VP of HR for Microsoft, said Slap “made a significant, long-term difference in the commitment of our managers and their ability to achieve results through others.”

She added that his methods have been “transformational” for both her as a leader and for Microsoft as an entire organization.
