Canadian HR Awards finalists revealed

Leaders in human resources – from the who’s who of Corporate Canada to the individual directors reshaping human resources – form the list of finalists for the inaugural Canadian HR Awards, a national celebration of excellence in people management.

Leaders in human resources – from the who’s who of Corporate Canada to the individual directors reshaping human resources – form the list of finalists for the inaugural Canadian HR Awards, a national celebration of excellence in people management.

Those finalists, drawn from across the country, will vie for awards in 16 categories, with the big reveal coming at gala ceremony on November 7 at Toronto's Liberty Grand.

“Whittling down the hundreds of nominations the industry has offered up has been challenging, but the response speaks to the strides HR has made over the last decade,” said Tim Duce, president and CEO for KMI Publishing and Events, the organizers of the awards. “It’s our honour to host this celebration of excellence.”

KMI – the people behind Canada’s HRM Online and HRD magazine – brings an HR-centric awards gala to the market, having already played host to a national award show in Australia and the Asia Pacific Region for 12 years.

With 16 organizational and individual categories, as well as a “Lifetime Achievement In The HR Industry” presentation, the awards have been designed to ensure national recognition not only for individual HR professionals but also the broader human resources teams at both large and small organizations. Industry consultants and service providers will also be recognized.
