Next time your coffee date orders a venti-sized coffee, don’t be too impressed. But if they choose cappuccino, that’s a good sign. Or is it?

We had a CEO running our company who's daily ritual involved driving his brats to school, stopping at Tim Horton's and picking up a jumbo coffee. This resulted in his sauntering into work at 9:30am or later. This habit in spite of the office coffee being gourmet and free.

His undoing was when he took senior staff out to his favorite coffee shop to tell them of his plan to extort the company from the majority shareholders. He made the staff he talked to, buy their own coffee, but he expensed his back to the comany. He was definitely compensating for some inadequacy.
